OUR MISSION
The 3rd Annual Next Gen Youth Entrepreneurship Summit is back — and it’s only getting BIGGER and BETTER! Thanks to the incredible momentum built over the past two years, this year’s Summit promises to be our most impactful yet. This November, we'll be expanding the Summit to 150 selected high school students as part of our mission to empower Genesee County's young leaders. Through a day of connection, collaboration, and inspiration, we'll fan the flames of youth entrepreneurship and support our students' pursuit of success at work and in life.
WHAT TO EXPECT
150 Next Gen Leaders. A hand-selected group of Genesee County's most promising and impact-driven young leaders. This cohort will participate in the Summit at no cost (100% free for nominated students, including meals and transportation).
30+ High Schools. We're thrilled to partner with high schools and post-secondary institutions across Genesee County. Whether or not your school was involved last year, we welcome your students to participate!
100+ Mentors and Inspirational Business Leaders. Entrepreneurs, business leaders, and professionals offer 1:1 coaching to guide attendees in their entrepreneurial and career endeavors.

When and where is the Summit?
The event will take place on Friday, November 14th starting at 8:00 AM, at the University of Michigan at Flint Riverfront Conference Center in downtown Flint (1 Riverfront Plaza, Flint, MI 48502-1950).

Will all of my nominees be chosen to attend the event?
All nominations will be reviewed and considered for participation. Each school has up to ten spots for their students to participate. Once the nomination window closes on October 17th, all selected applicants will receive a registration form where they will answer two short questions about their entrepreneurial mindset and goals. These responses will be evaluated to determine who will secure a spot to join us at the Summit!
Does the order in which I fill out my nominee information in the form below matter?
No, the nomination order does not have an impact on the review process. All nominees will be evaluated for participation at the Summit as long as they are submitted by the deadline.
Is there a deadline for nominations?
Yes, please submit all nominations by Friday, October 17th to have your student(s) considered.
